Direction from on High...

There is a living prophet on the earth today - and in October he gave this counsel to the world, you & me particularly....

" I plead with you today to counter the lure of the world by making time for the Lord in your life—each and every day."

"He will lead and guide you in your personal life if you will make time for Him in your life—each and every day."

"We have been given our charge for the next six months. Now the question is, how will we be different because of what we have heard and felt?"   (4 months now)

The new year is a good time to start improving every day at least a little bit.  Following a plea from a prophet is also a very idea.  The best place to begin I believe will be on your knees in prayer.  Then reading the word of God in the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants.  The spirit may guide you to other good things after that.  If you don't understand this at all seek out the missionaries or any member of the church to help you find a way.

Prayer with intent is a very powerful tool - even as Joseph Smith knelt as a young boy and asked and was answered so will you receive an answer.

  Alma 37: 16 But if ye keep the commandments of God, and do with these things which are sacred according to that which the Lord doth command you, (for you must appeal unto the Lord for all things whatsoever ye must do with them) behold, no power of earth or hell can take them from you, for God is powerful to the fulfilling of all his words. 17 For he will fulfil all his promises which he shall make unto you, for he has fulfilled his promises which he has made unto our fathers. Those that came before worked so hard to give us what we have today.  How can we not work hard for them and our future posterity as well.
